Prof. Michal Gal (Haïfa, Israël) has been elected Chair of Ascola by the General Assembly of the Association. The meeting took place in Leiden, during the annual conference. The new Chair will be assisted by Prof. Heike Schweitzer (Berlin, Germany), who will serve as a Vice Chair.
The annual conference is about to begin, and we are thrilled to welcome in Leiden the biggest concentration of independent competition law and policy scholars around the world.
Together with other competition law aficionados, Ascola Member and Chair Paul Nihoul has recently edited a book on the place of "Choice" in Competition Law Analysis.
